Kampung Daun is set up at the foot of the mountain and it looks as if you entered a jungle. Sprawling trees, continuous chirping of birds, the sound of flowing water, fresh mountain Breeze gives you a soothing environment. The ambience is excellent with surrounding bamboo trees.
Inside each hut, there is a bamboo bell. When you need a service, just ring the bell! It’s quite interesting and fun!
Hut has its privacy and set up is romantic too. You can enjoy the Indonesian food in Lesehan seating style.Food is delicious and service is good. Menu has English version too (some restaurants lack it) Most dishes are Sundanese but western dishes like pasta are also available. My advice is to try their local dishes. They are delicious🤤 Don’t miss their “gurame Bakar”. Food is a bit expensive but worth it.
We visited the place in early February and there is Valentine’s Day decoration all over the place which makes it more romantic!
It looks mesmerizing at night! As we came for lunch, we missed the experience.

Tips:
- As there a lot of trees, you can find few insects, so bring insect repellents.
- The location is far and taxis are not readily available. Better to arrange transportation back to city before hand.
