Jatiluwih Rice Terrace,a UNESCO World Heritage Site is the biggest rice terraces in Bali stretching over 600 hectares!Situated in the hills 850meters above sea level of the Batukuru Mountain range has a beautiful view of rice fields.
We are totally mesmerised to see different shades of green!A very refreshing view.Looks like the rice fields are manicured to perfection.
As you go in,you can see the irrigation systems.We can meet the local Farmers and know more about the cultivation.This vast rice terrace is not to be missed and better to spend approximately 1-2 hrs to enjoy the magnificent view!It is not crowded.

How to get there:
Kuta, Seminyak, Denpasar and Canggu, it is approximately a 2-hour ride on a car or a scooter and from Ubud, it takes around 1.5-hours. Car is the safest way but to enjoy the
stunning views, best way is on scooter (rental around 75,000 IDR/day)

Tips:
- The best time to visit Jatiluwih Rice Terraces is from February to April,when the rice plants in full swing.
- As it is an open place,it’s adviced to visit early in the morning or evening.
- Better to bring an umbrella to avoid the sun if visiting in the afternoon.
