Many are experimenting with cakes in this quarantine period…You can make this delicious cake with just 3 ingredients – Oreos, milk & baking powder, that’s all you need! You can make it even without oven!
The procedure is so easy that even kids can make it! Crush the Oreos, add milk and baking powder and heat it. As oreos already have flour, oil and sugar in it, no need to add again.
INGREDIENTS:
• Oreo biscuits – 28
• Baking powder – 1 tsp
• Milk – 1 cup (240 ml)
PROCEDURE:
1. Make the Oreo biscuits into pieces and put in a blender. Blend till you get fine powder.
2. In a bowl, add Oreo powder, baking powder and milk. Mix to get a smooth batter.
3. Grease a 6 inch bowl and pour the batter into it. Cover it with aluminium foil.
4. Heat a thick pan on medium Low and place the cake bowl on it and heat it for 40-50 minutes or till tooth pick pricked in centre comes out clean.
5. Decorate with chocolate ganache (optional) and enjoy! Refrigerate and eat for best taste
TIPS:
• If you use a 7 or 8 inch pan, cake will be a bit flat and heating it for 30-40 minutes is sufficient.
• When you open the aluminium foil to check, close it properly. If not, water layer will be formed on cake.
• You can use chocolate shavings or crushed Oreo powder or coconut flakes or nuts to decorate.
What if I don’t have a blender?
If you don’t have a blender, separate the cream and biscuits. Put the biscuits in a ziplock bag and beat with a roller pin till you get fine powder. Later, add milk to the powder and then the separated cream.
Can I microwave it?
Of course, you can! Microwave it for 5 to 6 minutes or till tooth pick comes out clean. It depends on the microwave.
