Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve is Singapore’s first ASEAN heritage park.Place looks beautiful with 202 hectares of mangroves, ponds, mudflats,observatory pods,walking trails,boardwalks.It is a wintering ground for migratory birds.
Trekking through this reserve,you can explore different flora and fauna and it’s native inhabitants are water snake s,mud skippers,crabs,shell fish, monitor lizards, spiders and otters.Resident birds like herons,kingfishers and sun birds can be spotted.There will be a lot of wild life Photographers!
During the migratory season(September to March) you can see diverse flocks of shorebirds or waders including plovers and sandpipers.
You can hear a high pitched sounds as you walk,it is from the Mangrove cicadas .Cicadas are the only insects capable of producing such a unique and loud sound. Some larger species can produce a call in excess of 120 decibels at close range!
Mud skippers are the amphibious fish!
There will be observatory pods too!
The walking trails are full of greenery and nature lovers will definitely enjoy the walk!Its so refreshing in the morning.
Wetlands centre is a bird watchers paradise and Live educational centre for kids!
The Malaysian buildings in the background adds beauty to the view.

Mondays to SaturdaysBoard SMRT Bus 925 from Kranji MRT Station. Alight at Kranji Reservoir Carpark B. Walk across the road to the Visitor Centre.
Sundays and Public Holidays
Board SMRT Bus 925 from Kranji MRT Station. The bus stops at the Wetland Centre entrance. Please note that SMRT Bus 925 operates only from Woodlands Interchange on Sundays and Public Holidays.
Kranji Express:
Kranji Express operates daily starting from 8.30 am and ending at 5.45 pm from Kranji MRT Station. Bus schedule details can be found in the below link.
