It is a must visit place. Ulun Danu Beratan Temple is known as”the floating temple” as it appears floating on the high tide. This beautiful Balinese temple is located about 1200 metres above sea level in Lake Beratan within the highlands of the mountainous Bedugal region.Wherever you see,it will be full of natural scenery.The mountains around the place gives it a dreamy touch.It gives a heavenly feeling.So take your own time to explore the entire area.
There are even some photo spots.You can even rent paddle boats and fishing gear!The grounds are beautifully maintained with exotic flowers.The views are mesmerising. It is quite a picturesque location!

It is more advisable to hire a private car.It is almost 2.5 hour drive from Seminyak,1.5 hour drive from Ubud2 hours from Kuta & Denpasar.

- If you want to get a good photo ,best time to visit the temple is for sunrise during the wet season (October to April).
