Located in Ubud, just few miles away from Pui Saren. Its not a must visit place, quite small one. Its a 11th century cave and the entrance is through the carved mouth of a demon. The entrance of the cave looks great.
As you go into the cave,it just ends and on left you find the statue of Ganesh and on the right Lingam(phallic symbol of Lord Shiva) and Toni.Be weary of the people inside who try to explain about the place.I heard from friends that they will follow you and give information. At the end,ask you to pay a high amount!Don’t buy the Sarong from the shops (they will ask you to!)because at the entrance, you can lend one for free!
Goa Gajah is surrounded by majestic rain forest. As you reach main grounds, you will see a holy Pond.
Throughout the temple complex, a variety of structures bare Hindu influences which date back to the 10th Century. As you go on,you can find rice fields.
