These chocolate cups are so easy that anyone can make!Especially kids will love to make chocolate cups.
I saw chocolate cups in a cake shop and thought of giving it a try…glad I did it! They are soooo delicious and you can fill the cups with different fillings like whipping cream, chocolate mousse, fruits, peanut butter, ice cream or candies! Great idea for party desserts. Here I used whipped cream, chocolate mousse, strawberries and blue berries.)
What type of chocolate can I use?
You can use any chocolate you like! You can even colour the white chocolate to get vibrant chocolate cups. Chocolate discs or chocolate block works great!
How to make chocolate cups?
Just melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave and coat the silicone cupcake liners with melted chocolate using a paint brush. Refrigerate for 10 minutes and give a second coating. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP. The chocolate cups are more sturdy with second layer. I used coconut oil to make the cups a bit shiny.
How to coat the cupcake liners?
Silicone cupcakes liners works best.Any paint brush works.Keep a separate paint brush for baking. Don’t use the ones you already used for painting 😀
You can make designs like alternating white and dark chocolate.
How to store the chocolate cups?
If the temperature is too hot, store them in refrigerator and take out before serving. If the temperature is cool, you can store them in close containers at room temperature.
