We are so excited to go for the cable car sky dining as it is our first outdoor activity during the Covid period! They are taking a lot of measures to ensure hygiene and there are slight changes in the timings. As a part of NDP 55, there is an ongoing promotion too!
Cable car dining is a feast for the eyes and palate! You can enjoy the authentic flavours of Singapore dishes with a breath taking panoramic view from 330 feet (100 meters) above sea level.
Singapore’s favourite dishes
1.Traditional Hainanese Chicken Rice – The fragrant rice is cooked in chicken broth infused with Pandan leaves.
2. Wok fried chilli crab meat with Mini Mantou – Chilli crab is one of the Singapore’s national dishes. Dip the fried mantous (buns) into the sweet and spicy chilli crab gravy to soak up the essence of the dish!
3. Crispy Prawn Wanton – Deep fried dumpling filled with minced shrimp.
4. Tauhu Goreng with peanut sauce – a fried tofu served with peanut sauce.
5. Rainbow cake – Six colourful layers of cake with cream cheese filling.
6. Fish & prawn crackers – Eat as a snack or crack into smaller pieces and sprinkle on top of any dish to give it a crispy texture.
7. Coconut water – Refreshing drink with young coconut pulp.
We were too busy in enjoying the view & taking pictures. Soon realised that our first round came to an end, then we started eating the main dish and sides😄 I personally feel that the quality of food can be improved especially the fried tofu ( It’s literally tasteless!) Rainbow cake is delicious and the crackers are a good time pass snacks.
The trip lasted around 1 hour. You can have a cozy romantic dinner or a memorable family dinner with spectacular view. It offers a 360-degree aerial and visual treat of the entire Sentosa-HarbourFront skyline and the resort island.
As the ride continues, you can notice the scenery changing! The cabins soar above the forest, through a skyscraper, over the harbour and travel across the jungle, sand and sea.During the golden hour, the view is just mesmerising!
You can even witness the beautiful Singapore changing from daylight to sparkling night!
We had a very great time. As the trip lasted for only an hour, we didn’t get to see the night view… Then I realised that the sky dining pass holders can get a complimentary ride to and from harbour front station!
So we thought of spending some time at the Arbora hilltop dining (Its on the other end, just enter from the gift shop).Glad we did it! The view is spectacular especially the sunset!
As the sun sets, we went back to take our complimentary ride to enjoy the aerial view of Singapore. The view with lights and splendour set against the romantic night sky is astounding!
We enjoyed the experience and my girl loved it too! It’s definitely worth visiting especially for the view!If you are not into Singapore flavours, better to choose the Stardust cabin which comes with 4- course meal and the duration is approximately 90 minutes (3 rounds). Vegetarian menu is available upon request.
