Chocolate is almost everyone’s favourite! Anything made of chocolate is just delicious… so today I made condensed milk chocolate truffles with just 2 ingredients. After watching the video, you will agree that they are so easy to make!
Chocolate truffles can be added to your dessert party list now! These are made with just condensed milk and cocoa powder.
INGREDIENTS:
• Condensed milk – 240 gm
• Cocoa powder – 100 gm (80 gm for recipe and 20 gm for dusting)
PROCEDURE:
1. Take 240 gm of condensed milk in a saucepan and heat it by stirring continuously. DO NOT BOIL.
2. Remove from the stove and sift half of the cocoa powder (from 80gm) into the hot condensed milk.
3. Mix till there are no lumps.
4. Add the other half of cocoa powder and mix thoroughly. Do it fast before the mixture cools down as it will be difficult to mix if it thickens.
5. Pour the mixture in a box with plastic wrap. Cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours.
6. After 2 hours, dust a plate with cocoa powder.
7. Grease the hands with butter or oil to avoid the chocolate sticking to hands.
8. Take a small size of chocolate and make a ball and place it on the cocoa powder.
9. After making all the balls, just roll them in the cocoa powder. If you doesn’t like the taste of more cocoa powder, just dust the balls with cocoa powder.
10. Yummy chocolate truffles are ready to eat!
VARIATIONS:
You can coat the chocolate balls with many things other than cocoa powder… I used coconut flakes, Almond powder and sprinkles….Just roll the chocolate balls in the toppings…Of all, coconut flakes is my favourite…It’s soooo delicious 🤤 You can even coat with dry fruit pieces, chocolate rice, chopped ground nut and many more!
STORAGE:
1. Store them in covered container at room temperature for 3-4 days or in refrigerator upto 2 weeks.
2. You can store them upto 3 months by storing in freezer in a closed container. When you wanna eat, just thaw in refrigerator, then bring to room temperature and enjoy!
TIPS:
- Do not boil the condensed milk.
- Mix the cocoa powder quickly so that the condensed milk is still hot as it becomes difficult to mix when it’s thickened.
- Cover the mixture with plastic wrap when refrigerated.
- Grease hands with butter while rolling the chocolate balls to avoid sticking.
