Burj Khalifa is the world’s tallest building and Dubai’s most iconic destination.It is over 828 metres (2,716.5 feet) and have more than 160 storeys. Burj Khalifa is described as a ‘Vertical City’ and a ‘ Living Wonder’ and is known as Burj Dubai prior to its inauguration(January 4,2010).It holds a number of world records.

The entrance is through Dubai mall and you can go 30 minutes earlier to queue up…It took almost an hour to reach the elevator!Even though we bought the tickets online, we were asked to exchange it for a hard copy.
As we walk to the elevator, we can see display of many models and facts about the tower.
Construction of Burj Khalifa began in 2004 and the exterior cladding is completed by 2009!

It is a Stunning work of art!Soaring high at 555 meters, it is the highest outdoor observatory in the world, spread across levels 148 and 125.
Level 125, at 456 meters offers breath-taking 360- degree views!
After seeing both day and night pics on the internet, we chose to visit at night and the views didn’t disappoint us.Dubai city at night looks beautiful!Impressive buildings and lights everywhere…Amazing view!
The Dubai fountain light show can be seen from the top!The show is spectacular from the ground level and seeing from top is a different experience(Of course, not as beautiful as from the ground!)
There is a glass floor with display and feel the glass crack as you step on it! Kids will enjoy it a lot.

Observation decks:
1. At the Top, Burj Khalifa SKY :
It is on level 148 at 555 meters (1,821 ft) high. Visitors get the view of city from an outdoor terrace and a premium lounge.There will be a personalized tour guided by a guest ambassador.Refresh yourself with signature refreshments at SKY lounge.Continue your journey to levels 124 and 125.
2. At the Top, Burj Khalifa:
It is on level 124&125 at 452 meters (1483 ft) and 456 meters (1496 ft) respectively.Explore the 360 degree observation decks at your own leisure.Set off on a virtual reality experience to the pinnacle of Burj Khalifa.

*During prime hours,tickets are costlier as sunset is the best time to be at observatory to view the stunning Dubai skyline!
How to get there:
Reach Dubai mall either on taxi or metro(Dubai mall/Burj Khalifa- Red line) stop.The entrance to the sky and the counters are located on the lower ground level of the Dubai Mall.Follow the Burj Khalifa Sign boards from the mall entrance until you reach the entrance to Burj Khalifa.

Tips:
- Book tickets online to avoid disappointment as at times, tickets are sold out at the counter.
- Tickets are much cheaper online and can skip the queue at the counter.
- “Skip the line” tickets are costlier and can buy if you are in a hurry.
- Generally a foggy day is not good for the visit.
- There is a luggage drop off point for heavy bags and strollers.
