Tirta Gangga Water Palace is surrounded by tropical gardens and is spread over 1.2 hectares with fish ponds, pools,stone carvingsand fountains.It is locally called as Taman Tirta Gangga.
As you enter,you will see a breathtaking view with huge koi fish pond and rows of Guardian figures.There are stepping stones so you could get good view of the pond and centre piece!
The center one is eleven tiered fountain and the pond is full of beautiful huge Koi fish.You can even feed them.Fish food is sold just outside the entrance. 5000 IDR for 3 bags.
There are 2 more pools. One of which is allowed for Swimming.There are changing rooms.Other one is on the southern side with a connecting bridge.
There are shaded areas to sit and enjoy the view.

How to get there:
It is 3 hours drive from Kuta or Seminyak and 2 hours drive from Ubud.

Tips:
- Better to come before 10am to avoid the crowd and heat.
- For good photographs with Koi fish,don’t forget to grab fish food.
- Can have lunch in the restaurants nearby. Food is tasty!
