Taman Ayun is a royal temple of Mengwi Empire.It looks like a drift on the water and is a set of land surrounded by the big fish pond.It is a beautiful example of traditional Balinese Architecture. As you enter,you are wished by a extensive spread of garden with lotus ponds!Quite a picturesque view ..Taman Ayun translates to “Garden temple in the water”.The place is not over crowded.

How to get there:
It is recommended to go on a scooter or car as there is no public transportation to the temple. It is easily accessible and lies on the main road. It is about 1.5 hrs drive from Denpasar,Kuta or Seminyak and 45 min drive from Ubud.
